On February 18, the Commencement Ceremony of 2019 Henan Zhengzhou First Batch of Key Projects was held at the site of CR Power’s Zhengzhou Airport Project. Ma Jian, member of the Standing Committee of Zhengzhou Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone, Zhang Junfeng, Director of Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone Administrative Committee, and Xin Wenda, General Manager of CR Power’s Central-West China Region, were present at the ceremony. Nearly 300 people from the Party and Administration Office, Economic Development Bureau, Municipal Construction and Environmental Protection Bureau, Transport Administration Committee, and Construction Supervision Departments of various projects attended the ceremony.

On January 28, National High-tech Enterprise Identification Management Leading Group Office issued the “Response to Filing of Second Batch of High-tech Enterprises of 2018 in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region”; Guangxi Science and Technology Department, Finance Department, and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Tax Service of State Taxation Administration released the “Notice on Promulgating Second Batch of Approved High-Tech Enterprises of 2018 in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region”, in which China Resources Power (Hezhou) Co., Ltd. (referred to as Hezhou Project) was listed.

From January 22 to 26 at the 2018 Hunan Power Generation Enterprise Technical Supervision Conference, China Resources Power (Lianyuan) Co., Ltd. (referred to as Lianyuan Project) was awarded 9 honors of 2018 Hunan Provincial Technical Supervision.

On January 8, Jin Jiayin, captain of the internal security detachment of Zhenjiang Public Security Bureau of Jiangsu Province, and his party, 3 person in total, went to Jiangsu Zhenjiang Power Generation Co., Ltd. (referred to as Zhenjiang Project) on behalf of Zhenjiang Public Security Bureau to award them “Jiangsu Province Safe Enterprise”.

On January 8, Guangdong Provincial Association of Work Safety (GDPAWS) organized and held 2018 Guangdong Provincial Safety Culture Construction Demonstration Enterprise Summary and Exchange Meeting in Guangzhou. GDPAWS reported on the progress of building 2018 Guangdong Provincial Safety Culture Demonstration Enterprise, and commended and awarded the title of “2018 Guangdong Safety Culture Demonstration Enterprise” to 46 enterprises. China Resources Power (Haifeng) Co., Ltd. (referred to as Haifeng Project), as one of the winners, was the only thermal power enterprise receiving the award.

On December 27, Fuyao Group Intelligent Energy Platform and Jingwei Intelligent Energy Platform of Southeast China Region were put into operation online simultaneously.

From December 22 to 23, China Resources Power (Haifeng) Co., Ltd. (referred to as Haifeng Project), China Energy Engineering Group Guangdong Electric Power Design Institute Co., Ltd. (referred to as Guangdong Electric Power Design Institute), and UK-China (Guangdong) CCUS Center jointly held a start activity for the commissioning of carbon capture test platform and CCUS development and financing workshop in Shenzhen-Shanwei Special Cooperation Zone. Ministry of Ecology and Environment, Guangdong Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment, Guangdong Provincial Energy Bureau, and over ten think tanks and financial institutions participated in relevant activities.

On December 15, Merrille Goonetilleke, Deputy Secretary General of Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, visited China Resources Power Tangshan Fengrun Co., Ltd. (referred to as Fengrun Project) for investigation, accompanied by Ding Jie, General Manager of Fengrun Project.

On November 28, the inaugural ceremony of the Phase II 2×660MW ultra supercritical Coal Burning Unit Engineering of Fuyang CR Power Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as the “Fuyang Project”) was held. Cheng Jinjun, engineer-in-chief of Anhui Energy Administration, Li Hong, deputy mayor of Fuyang City, Zhu Yicun, general manager of Anhui Province Energy Group and Zhao Houchang, Vice President of CR Power, attended the activities, witnessing the moment together with over 180 people including regional government representatives, attending unit representatives and employees of the Fuyang Project.

On November 27, there came good news from the Guangdong Qingyuan Development and Reform Commission that Qingyuan Fogang County Fuxin 49.9MW wind power expansion project in South China was approved.
