On January 9, CR Power finished the hoisting of all wind turbines of the 20MW Distributed Wind Power Project in Taibus Banner, Inner Mongolia.

On February 4, CR Power Shenyang Company signed an agreement on developing new energy projects with the government of Liaozhong District of Shenyang.

On February 4, the 2023 Promotion Meeting on “Investment for Green Power” of Alxa League & the Signing Ceremony of Key Projects was held at Bayanhot.

On February 2, CR Power Xuzhou Company held the groundbreaking ceremony for the first east line of the high-temperature hot water heat-supply project of “north-south heat transmission” program. The project aims to meet increasing demands for heat supply by transmitting the heat from the north part to the east part of the city. The project will be divided into two phases, with an estimated total investment of RMB 700 million. The project commenced in 2023 is the first phase of intensive construction, which covers a total length of 8.4 kilometers and involves an investment of about RMB 250 million.

On January 19, CP Power successfully conducted the trial of berthing for the first coal carrier at the Xijiang power plant of the Yunfu Company. The trial of berthing is of great significance for the company to open the channel for transferring coals and ensure coal allocation and transportation and is also an important node for the company to put the two thermal power generating units with the installed capacity of 660MW into operation.

On January 16, the first unit of the whole-rooftop distributed PV power generation of the Phase I 50MW Project of CP Power in Fengnan County, Hebei was grid-connected successfully. With a total investment of RMB 189 million, during the first stage, the project boasts an overall installed capacity of 50MW and is able to provide green power of 67 million kWh to users and the power grid.

On January 9, CR Power achieved the full capacity grid-connected power generation of the 100MW Wind Power Project in Urad Middle Banner, Inner Mongolia. The project, with a total investment of RMB 697 million, plans to set up 15 units of 6.7MW wind turbines and supporting facilities with a storage capacity of 30MW/60MWh.

On January 6, CR Power successfully started the test pile on extending units #3 and #4. During this phase, the project aims to boost the 2×1000MW ultra-supercritical double-reheat coal-fired generating units #3 and #4. It is expected to produce an extra over 10 billion kWh annually and increase the output value to about RMB 5 billion.
