On January 19, Guangdong CR Carbon Energy Technology Co., Ltd. under CR Power Shenshan Company signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Institute of Hydrobiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. According to the agreement, both parties will concentrate on the integrated algae-photovoltaic desertification control project. They will collaborate on the research and development of core technologies in application fields such as aquaculture, water environment management and algae strain selection. The goal is to unlock the considerable potential that algae aquatic organisms hold for industrial applications. They will jointly build an innovative R&D platform, address technological challenges, share resources, combine strengths, and facilitate the translation of scientific and technological innovations into practical applications.

On January 15, Yundong Power Plant of CR Power Cangzhou Company completed the entire process required to establish itself as a Grade A environmental performance enterprise for key industries in Hebei Province. Consequently, it earned the qualification of "Grade A Enterprise in Environmental Performance for Key Industries in Hebei Province". Grade A stands as the pinnacle of performance ratings, indicative of the optimal standard in environmental protection management amongst industry peers.

From January 8th to 10th, CR Power Northwest Hubei Company convened a review meeting in Yichang, Hubei Province, to evaluate the preliminary design principles of Yichang Power Plant's Phase II 1×350MW Cogeneration Project. The Project is located in Xiaoting Industrial Park, Yichang City, and spans an area of approximately 200 mu. With a total investment of RMB 1.43 billion, once operational, it is expected to annually produce thermal energy of 4.88 million GJ and generate electricity of 1,500 GWh.

On December 30, CR Power Sunan Company's 200MW Fishery and PV Complementary Project in Nantong Export-oriented Agricultural Comprehensive Development Zone achieved full-capacity grid-connected power generation. The Project has installed a total of 53 PV power generation units. They are consolidated through an 8-circuit power collection system to a new 220kV step-up substation, which in turn is connected to the local grid. Upon completion, the Project is anticipated to supply the power grid with approximately 230 GWh of clean energy annually. This will potentially save around 70,000 tons of standard coal and reduce about 156,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions each year.

On December 30, the Fujin 150MW Wind Power Project of CR Power Northeast China Region New Energy Co., Ltd. achieved full-capacity grid-connected power generation. The Project has a total of 24 WTGSs with a unit capacity of 6.25MW. After its completion, the Project is expected to generate 530 GWh of clean electricity each year, resulting in a saving of 172,400 tons of standard coal and a reduction of 417,800 tons of carbon dioxide emissions.

The reverse power transmission of the 220kV Booster Gathering Station of 400MW PV Power Generation Project, the supporting project of CR Power's 100MW/400MWh Energy Storage Project in Luopu succeed at one time on October 23.

CR Power South China Region obtained 1 million-kW competitive allocation quota in the competitive allocation of Guangdong Province's 2023 Offshore Wind Power Project in Waters under Provincial Administration on October 11, achieving a zero breakthrough in CR Power's offshore wind power business in Guangdong Province.

CR Power Shenyang New Energy Company signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Shenyang University on October 10 for the Near Zero Carbon Campus Demonstration Project. According to the agreement, both parties will conduct comprehensive cooperation in scientific research, academic exchanges, talent cultivation and joint exploration of zero carbon campus construction.

The groundbreaking ceremony of CR Power Shenshan Company's 4×1000MW Denitration Liquid Ammonia-to-Urea Conversion Project was held in October 10. After the Project is completed, the ammonia gas for denitration of the 4 units will be completely supplied by the urea hydrolysis system, and there will be no liquid ammonia storage system in the factory, which can completely eliminate the major danger source of storing liquid ammonia in the factory and promote the improvement of safety production level of Shenshan Company.

The hoisting of the first wind turbine of CR Power's 1000MW Wind Power Project in Santanghu was successfully completed on October 9. The Project is located in Santanghu Town, Balikun County, Hami City, Xinjiang, with a planned total investment of RMB 5.086 billion and one 250MW/1000MWh energy storage station constructed as the supporting facility. After the Project is completed, the average annual on-grid power generation capacity will be 3.048 billion kWh and the average annual equivalent utilization hours will be 3,074 hours, which can save 919,000 tons of standard coal and reduce 2.5239 million tons of CO2 emission every year.
