On May 18, Xianning Company's Phase III of Puqi Power Plant project achieved the successful completion of the boiler pipeline purging operation for Unit 5. The purging employed high-velocity steam to effectively remove impurities such as rust, welding slag, oxide scales, and corrosion products from the boiler's heat-exchange surfaces and steam pipeline systems. This operation not only paved the way for achieving rapid compliance with steam-water quality standards during the unit's comprehensive commissioning but also established a solid foundation for its subsequent safe and stable operation.
